RED EARTH is an artist-led group creating site-specific installations and performances in the landscape. Cross art-form work informed by project-specific R&D. Small to large-scale work involving performance, installation, atmospheric fire and pyrotechnics, live sound and public participation.
RED EARTH projects explore our relationship with our environment: physical speculations on elemental processes, experiments in ritualised space.
RED EARTH projects are cross-artform interdisciplinary collaborations between artists and non-arts professionals, Installation/performance forming connections between art, history, science, philosophy and nature through research, experimentation, exploration, and public participation.
RED EARTH has presented work in Britain, Japan, Java, Mongolia and Europe in collaboration with artists from those countries: cross-cultural interface challenging conventional boundaries.
