Tangled Feet

Category: Artist

Tangled Feet is a physical theatre ensemble and a charity, dedicated to devising original, accessible and innovative work. They make transformative theatre in public places, found spaces, green spaces and theatre buildings creating atmospheres and experiences for audiences which are thrilling, surprising and memorable. These experiences always feel ‘live’ and in the moment, where the unique reality of this audience, right here right now is acknowledged and celebrated.

The Company formed in 2003 as a group of like-minded artists and friends with a shared vision and commitment to a collaborative, physical working methodology. Today the Company has grown to encompass a larger group of 50+ regular collaborators and participants, many of whom have worked with us over a number of years.

Tangled Feet joined the Arts Council’s national portfolio of core funded arts companies in 2018. They create work all over the UK and operate out of The Hat Factory Arts Centre, Luton. The Co-Artistic Directors of Tangled Feet are Nathan Curry and Kat Joyce.
