Straw Dog is more than a dynamic explosion of fight and flight; it’s a stunningly beautiful fusion of bungee-assisted dance and pure contemporary, pushing the boundaries of two dance genres into uncharted territory.
Exploring the internal battle between the best and worst elements of the human condition, it’s as beautiful as it is brutal. Such dynamic, savage energy, harnessed and tempered with the grace and elegance of flight, Straw Dog is an art form unlike any you have seen before.
Choreographed in collaboration with the award-winning Henri Oguike in early 2010, and commissioned by Without Walls, Straw Dog has been touring at major festivals around the country, to great acclaim from audiences and press alike.
The piece is 11 minutes in duration, can be performed up to four times per day and tailored quotations are available on request. The piece is available for both UK and international touring.
