About XTRAX: What We Do

Based in Manchester and founded in 2001 by Director Maggie Clarke, XTRAX champions outdoor arts in all its forms — including street arts, circus, dance, music, parades, physical theatre and interdisciplinary performance.

XTRAX works across the UK and internationally to develop partnerships, support artists and curate unforgettable cultural experiences. Through showcases, festivals, touring projects and networking events, the organisation helps artists build international careers while bringing world-class performances to audiences in streets, parks and city spaces.

XTRAX has played a major role in shaping the UK outdoor arts sector through international showcase programmes and artist commissions. We continue to support innovative new work, from large-scale productions to contemporary dance and participatory installations.

With a strong commitment to inclusion, sustainability and accessibility, XTRAX believes everyone should have access to extraordinary art in public spaces. By connecting artists, audiences and international partners, XTRAX continues to support outdoor arts to thrive globally.
