Greenwich+Docklands Festivals (GDF) produces extraordinary events which transform people’s lives. It sets out to break new ground in outdoor performance by working dynamically with artists to generate projects which resonate and respond to the specifics of place and people, creating enduring legacy long after their completion. Through its programme of commissions, it actively reflects Britain’s contemporary diversity, reaching out to the widest possible audiences whilst acting as a leading British force in developing outdoor performance with culturally diverse and Deaf and disabled artists. The annual Greenwich+Docklands International Festival features both UK and international work across Greenwich and Tower Hamlets, including a number of specially commissioned projects. As a member of the Without Walls street arts network the Festival is pleased to be providing the London platform for a range of performances which are being presented by the consortium with support from Arts Council England.
