The XTRAX showcases began in 2001 in Manchester as a platform for diverse artists spanning the entire spectrum of the arts – including dance, circus, music, spoken word and more.
After growing and developing for eight years, the showcase took on the format most of the outdoor arts sector is familiar with today. With free outdoor arts at its core, XTRAX showcases have become important places for outdoor arts professionals across the UK and internationally.
