String and Strong’s Great Big Game-a-Thon

Category: Show Related artist: Fully Booked Theatre

String and Strong love dancing, playing, and having fun. They are happy to dance and improvise to live music. They are non-verbal and communicate through movement, utterances, and gesture (they especially love to laugh, and they can learn some words and even your name if you teach them) String and Strong work alongside a Game Activator Host, who supports participation.

Gameathon Encounters (examples)
• Name Game – Help String learn your name by pairing it with a movement
• Jump! – Participants jump over a giant, colourful string held and animated by String and Strong
• Limbo! – The classic limbo game, reimagined with thick, vibrant string
• Be the String – Participants control String and Strong’s movement through the motion of the string
• Follow the Leader – Can develop into a playful parade through one or multiple festival locations
