The XTRAX team will be attending TPAM in Yokohama from 8 – 16 February 2020 to learn more about the contemporary performing arts sector in Japan and meet with key organisations.
As part of the TPAM Exchange programme we will be hosting a group meeting to present an overview of the UK outdoor performance sector. We’re looking forward to sharing information and promoting opportunities for Japanese promoters to get involved with UK Outdoor Arts and attend our UK showcasing activities in 2020.
Get in touch if you would like to arrange a meeting during our visit.
Our Group Meeting will take place on Tuesday 11 February from 16.00 – 16.40 at the Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall and is open to attend for all TPAM professional delegates.
XTRAX’s international showcase activity is part of our Platform4:UK project funded by Arts Council England which aims to promote the work of UK outdoor artists internationally, creating new markets for UK work and developing strong international partnerships.
Throughout 2020 we will be undertaking several activities to build on the successful relationships we have developed in East Asia, continuing to work closely with partners in Korea as well as exploring opportunities in Japan, China and Taiwan to develop new partnerships and facilitate exchanges between the UK and East Asia in the field of outdoor/street theatre and performance.
