Desperate Men

We have been producing ground-breaking outdoor theatre since 1980.We work on various scales . Collaboration is at the heart of what we do whether it’s working with local authorities, schools, artists and the voluntary sector through to land owners and local communities. In 2012 we created with Cirque Bijou Battle for the Winds to celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic Sailing events at Weymouth and Portland. With a diverse ensemble we produced three days of world class theatre,climaxing in a beach show for an 11,000. In an audacious finale 2012 volunteers walked into the sea with fire torches.For Bristol Green Capital in 2015 for the Bristol Loves Tides project we created the tides made flesh in the form of Proxi & Peri.https://www.myfuturemychoice.co.uk/bespoke-projects-/bristol-loves-tides.

2014-22 saw us as Artistic Directors on The Wye Valley River Festival.Working with local AONB and laterly the festival CIC.In recent years we also stirred things up with our iconic street show ‘ Slapstick and Slaughter.
