This July we’re launching XTRAX Global Conversations, a new series of webinars to spark debate about the future of our sector between international collaborators.
It’s no surprise that the global pandemic has had a tremendous effect on the Outdoor Arts; from the impact on mobility and touring for outdoor artists and professionals; to and our ability to continue engaging with international colleagues and urgency to explore alternative formats of presentation.
XTRAX Global Conversations is here to try and remedy some of the lost face-to-face communications and encourage information-sharing so we can keep our cross-continental networks alive.
The first XTRAX Global Conversations will focus on Outdoor Arts in East Asia and be held on 31 July as part of the XTRAX / Stockton International Riverside Festival Showcase, one year on from our first-panel discussion on the subject. You can register your place here.
The second session, to be held in September, will focus on European Perspectives with a selection of Outdoor Arts leaders from across Europe. Together they will discuss the opportunities that have arisen from the crisis and put forward a series of provocations on the future of international collaboration and advice to maintain international connections in these challenging times.
Follow our social platforms for announcements of times and dates.
This activity is supported by Platform 4:UK, XTRAX’s Arts Council of England funded project for international collaboration in outdoor arts.
