Welcome to the Outdoor Dance Collection: Catalogue

The ODC21 catalogue is a curated selection of some of the best new and existing outdoor dance shows available for touring in 2021/2022, chosen by a panel of representatives from XTRAX, DanceXchange, Dance4 and an independent artist.

Each show includes artistic and practical information about the piece, from video trailers and images to contact details and touring information.The ODC21 Catalogue also includes artists who are pitching as part of the UK Dance Showcase, 3-4 June.

About the Outdoor Dance Collection 2021

The catalogue is part of Birmingham International Dance Festival‘s brand new Outdoor Dance Collection 2021, a programme of events for professional delegates and artists in the dance and outdoor arts industry taking place 3-11 June. The Outdoor Dance Collection 2021 is dance and outdoor arts industry programme of events for professional delegates and artists and includes the UK Dance Showcase (3-4 June) and Dance & The Outdoors Symposium (8-9 June). 

The ODC21: UK Dance Showcase is devised and delivered in partnership with XTRAX as part of the international showcase programme Platform 4:UK; Dance4 as part of Dance from England; and DanceXchange, producers of BIDF. The event will offer opportunities for artists, programmers and professionals working in outdoor dance to attend panel discussions, training, artist pitching sessions and network with UK and international colleagues, all available via a virtual event platform.
